Storyboard - shot 4

This is a spontaneous shot showing his hand holding a gun.i assume this shot to be shown with camera shakes which transceds the nature and the speed of the character, the speed emphasizes that he is keen on finding something other than the gun.
The shot is such that the scene happens natuarally, shows the audience the gist of things that he holds
and the important thingover this is that any prop that is shown in this spontainity can make a difference in the forth coming scenes especially in the climax as i have mentioned in the previous shot.yes the audience need to closely observe the props provided that they will miss out the certainity which is the exact intent of the filmmaker.yes they will try to distract you from focusing on these props as they want a to give you a wow factor in the forthcoming scenes, where the audience mostly realize, that "oh" or "oops",meaning there comes an unexpected twist.
twist breaks the expectation of the audience, where the audience feel that the plot is new,and if it is unexpected twist then that is 200% new where the probability of guessing the scene or plot is lesser than 1%.
This is what makes audience enjoy even more and the filmmaker creates a magnum opus product on screen.
Now coming to choosing this shot,i chose a back one to keep the suspense of who, what and how his face looks.i cant go for diagnol shot as it might block the prop which he holds on right hand, and if i keep it on right diagnol, then it would be confusing for audience and be felt unnecessary.
Check out for next shot in few weeks.

Storyboard - shot 5

tamizhpanimanai.com       view cinematics on  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGMc1YdNT_g                         This is a close shot. The camera shakes continue from previous shot. But why is this a close shot? In the previous post i explained that a prop. may get an importance linking 2 scenes at different sequence and may establish logic. On seeing the forthcoming scene ,the audience might feel wow or some undeciphered plot may come to be perceived well. So I have given this a close shot in order to show that it has got some importance in the narration and may come to unlock an important knot of the story. In the making the close shot of this key is shown in a lapse of time i.e,in few seconds and the shot cuts to next frame or scene. The shaky effect is to show the human nature as it is handled by human. This shaky camera frames is shown from the subject point of view.i.e, the character who is playing the rol

Storyboard...A script with visuals,without camera.

The man walks along the light.Naturally when we enter a room of dark,we would try to locate the inner with the available light.but here the light is directed through the door opening.Indeed the illumination is through the shape of the opening and the characterstic of the light is to travel in straight path as it can't bend. This di

Storyboarding...An Unsung craft

official website view cinematics on  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGMc1YdNT_g Storyboard...As the name suggests, its putting the story in the form of visuals on paper or  computer drawing software before filming so that the film crew alone watch the movie without           ticket..Ha.Ha..It does not stop with that, the  main purpose of storyboarding is to pre visualize               the film to feed the idea to the film crew what is going to be shot and how it is going to be achieved.By doing so the whole team knows what they are  going to shoot. To make one final product(scene/film)the whole team works toward a particular goal having the same idea in mind, which eliminates the difference in opinion and confusion or mess on shoot.    The storyboard defines the type of shot, composition and movement of camera. This partly      gives the cinematographer/DOP how he/she is going to shoot, which dictates the equipm
